Rising Stars: Meet Latoya Arnold of Camp Springs

Today we’d like to introduce you to Latoya Arnold.

Hi Latoya, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2005, something unexpected awakened in me. What began as simple journaling and a love for books slowly revealed a hidden gift for writing. One Sunday, my pastor looked at me and said, “Why don’t you write a book?” I prayed, listened, and took my first step of faith. Not long after, a publishing company reached out to me—completely unprompted. It felt like a divine nudge, so I followed it. Life unfolded, years passed, and God kept shaping my voice through ministry, study, and community. Twenty years later, my first book was finally published. The true spark came from a Bible study group whose hunger for the Word reminded me why I write: to share Scripture, hope, and truth. What started as a whisper in 2005 became a testimony two decades in the making.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The twenty‑year journey to publishing my first book did not come without obstacles. One of the greatest challenges was the fear of sharing an unfinished manuscript—worried that my work might be taken or misused. At the same time, I was balancing the demands of full‑time work, raising my sons, and staying active in my community. There were seasons when being a single mother felt overwhelming, when making ends meet seemed impossible, and when the dream of writing felt too distant to hold onto. Yet even in those moments, something in me refused to quit. The smallest victories—turning a page, writing a paragraph, choosing hope—became the fuel that kept me moving forward against all odds. What emerged from those years was not just a book, but a testament to resilience, faith, and the quiet strength that grows in the middle of struggle.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I use my creativity and my faith to help people align with who God created them to be and live with purpose. As a creative author and faith‑driven teacher who blends artistry with purpose. I founded an online Bible study community and later my sister joined and this online platform equips people with practical, faith‑aligned principles to help them live with clarity, confidence, and intention.

What am i most proud of? I am grateful when someone benefits and can extract and go be their best version of themselves.

What sets me apart from others? My ability to merge creativity, faith, and practical teaching into a single, transformative voice. She doesn’t just write or lead—she builds pathways that help people align spiritually, think clearly, and live with purpose.

How do you think about happiness?
Witnessing the realization of dreams and seeing things flourish, experiencing the tranquility of a rainy day, feeling the joy of a summer morning, and enjoying my Bible with a warm cup of tea.
