Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Doyle.
Hi Jennifer, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I became a travel agent specializing in Disney destinations in 2020. It was certainly an odd year to enter the travel industry, but I chose a great agency, and I was able to complete lots of training and education that first year while the world started to open back up. I attended my first agency event in October of 2020 in Walt Disney World and had a fabulous time. It was my first trip as a solo traveler, which also helped me relate to my clients.
I’ve branched out to helping clients with cruises, and exploring next cities. I recently helped a family plan a Walt Disney World trip for their mom, who had never been, and she is in her 80’s. She loved staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge and seeing all the animals around the property. She was also able to meet Chewbacca at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which she loved. Helping clients make magical memories that last a lifetime is why I do what I do.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Travel has been interesting the last few years as people were finally ready to travel again after COVID. It has been very interesting to watch the industry grow and bloom.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I love to help my travel clients make magical memories in the destinations they have dreamed of. Every traveler is different, and I love the ideas and wish lists they bring to their trips. Sharing that magic with them and being part of their adventure is what I love. I try to make each trip as unique as possible and include as many experiences and core memory experiences as I can.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I’m not a huge risk taker; I am an avid planner and organizer, which is kind of the opposite of taking risks. I’ve always admired others who take risks, especially when they pay off.
