Today we’d like to introduce you to Patricia Barnes.
Hi Patricia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My gift is writing. In the beginning, I started off as a blogger nine years ago. Today, I’m a book publisher and Amazon #1 best-seller strategist. Over the years, I learned about coauthoring and anthology book from scrolling on social media either on Facebook or Instagram. I saw a woman who was offering an opportunity for women to write a chapter in her book known as an anthology book. Different coauthors write a chapter in the book. After that experience, I coauthored two additional anthology books as well as wrote a foreword for an anthology book. Then, I started to blog for others, became a book coach, and project manager for other visionaries who wanted their own anthology book. Later, I became a certified book publisher.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been the opposite of a smooth road. More like, a long bumpy road with a lot of traffic. For instance, as I mentioned before, I published my own anthology book. When I started the process of writing my own anthology book and looking for coauthors, I hired a project manager. I paid half the money for her to start. She ended up stealing my money and never responding to my emails again. I had to act fast because I had twenty-nine coauthors depending on me. I spent countless hours learning on YouTube and Google on how to publish your own book. Furthermore, I hired an Amazon #1 best-seller strategist for my anthology book. He didn’t scam me and did an excellent job the day of my book launch. We became an #1 best-selling author. I even give him credit for acknowledging he needed to hire an assistant due to his delayed respond time to his messages. However, he was terrible at responding to my questions. He would respond weeks or a month later to my text messages. For a first time visionary author with many coauthors depending on me that wait time was extremely unprofessional and mentally draining. I decided to learn how to become an Amazon #1 best-seller strategist for myself and other authors. If it wasn’t for the scammer project manager and bad communication skills from the best-seller strategist, I wouldn’t have became a book publisher or best-seller strategist. It’s been a long journey of writing, coaching, and business. Ultimately, you have to keep going and pivot despite setbacks and challenges in order to thrive and win in business.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?

What does success mean to you?
My definition of success is creating a life you love that brings you peace, joy, freedom, and great health. I believe wholeness is the key to success and happiness. When you focus on the seven pathways of wholeness such as mentally, emotionally, physically, personally, relationally, financially, and spiritually you will live in a constant state of gratitude and enjoyment. For example, I believe in being balanced by creating a life that you can win in each pathway. Enjoy your life and work hard. Also, give back to others and live in your purpose. Develop financial independence so you can afford to enjoy life on your own terms and be an asset. Dream big and continue to evolve to your highest self. Take care of your mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. The ability to slowdown to rest and enjoy the life you worked hard for as well as take mental health breaks when you feel overwhelmed. Building healthy relationships that support, celebrate, and inspire you. Enjoying quality time with the people who bring out the best, joy and love in you. Last but certainly not least, follow Jesus commands as well as make him your first priority and everything else will follow.
