Meet Michele Watt of Reach Your Dreams Life Coaching, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michele Watt.

Hi Michele, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
In my 20s, I learned that I had a knack for coaching coworkers and employees to success. Throughout my career, I was paired with new hires or employees who weren’t flourishing and was asked if I would train them to become more proficient. I thought that everyone did the same thing until a friend said that she hoped that they didn’t ask her to train coworkers. That was a startling revelation to me and I realized that I loved coaching and was genuinely pleased with their achievements.

Since then, I have led many employees. including many that previous leaders had written off as a failure. I was given a team of 20 employees last August and was discouraged when I saw their metrics. By all accounts, they were failing. If they didn’t turn it around, they would have been released. I realized that their previous leaders didn’t give them the energy that they deserved and never coached them to succeed. I changed the “sink or swim” culture and step by step molded these individuals into some of the highest performing employees in the company.

My past has led me to my current role as life coach. I use the very same techniques I have honed through the years to coach women to launch new businesses, overcome fear and imposter syndrome, and create a path to make their business dreams a reality.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has not always been easy. The most frequent obstacle I face is changing mind sets! Fear stops many in their tracks. They’re afraid to say something, and afraid not to say something. They’re afraid of rejection. They’re afraid of the unknown, or of failure and many times, they’re afraid of success. Rewiring those limiting beliefs and patterns is crucial to achievement and can take time. Just when you think they:re free of their fears, fear and doubt rear their ugly heads again. It can be a vicious cycle!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Reach Your Dreams Life Coaching, LLC?
I specialize in intuitively coaching entrepreneurs to launch their businesses with a secondary focus on overcoming fears and limiting beliefs. I take a multi pronged approach because I have learned that most people have the capacity to do the physical work it takes to move forward, but when the physical, spiritual and emotional selves aren’t aligned, progress isn’t made. Integration of these concepts is crucial. I have also realized that women, specifically, undervalue their skills and talents and tend to ask for crumbs. We work on rewiring those limiting beliefs and patterns so that the entrepreneur sets their prices according to their actual worth, not their perceived worth.

What makes you happy?
There are so many things that make me happy such as listening to music by the water on a warm day, sipping a pumpkin spice latte on a cool fall day, and watching baseball or football. These fill my soul with peace and rest and simple comfort.

The biggest thing that makes me happy is seeing a client succeed! I feel accomplished and satisfied that I was able to collaborate with them on a path to success and to see them reach their dreams. My purpose on this Earth has been fulfilled.
