Today we’d like to introduce you to Camryn Mireault.
Hi Camryn, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
After nearly a decade in real estate, I realized that almost every client needed guidance that went beyond buying or selling a home. Whether it was choosing the right paint color, deciding what furniture to keep, or understanding how to prepare their home for the market, there was always a need for design expertise and a clear plan.
Preparing a home for sale is incredibly detailed. While real estate agents navigate the process every day, most homeowners only sell a home once every 10 years or so. It’s understandable that they don’t know where to start or what today’s buyers expect. From decluttering and staging to coordinating vendors and managing all the behind-the-scenes details, there are countless moving parts that can quickly become overwhelming.
As my fiancé—who is the number one RE/MAX agent in Maryland—and I continued working with clients, we recognized that this was a significant gap in the real estate experience. His clients were constantly asking for recommendations, design advice, and help preparing their homes for sale. That’s what inspired me to launch Maryland Haus.
Today, Maryland Haus bridges the gap between real estate and interior design, making the selling process seamless, strategic, and profitable for our clients. By combining thoughtful design, expert home preparation, and full-service listing support, we help homeowners maximize their home’s value while creating a stress-free experience from consultation to closing.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting anything worthwhile is never super easy. In the beginning, I had to figure out how to stand out, especially when transitioning from one role to launching my own business. I faced moments where clients needed more guidance than expected, or where balancing perfection with efficiency was a real challenge. But those struggles taught me how to refine what I do, making the successes all the more rewarding.
As you know, we’re big fans of Maryland Haus, LLC . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am the owner of Maryland Haus, a business that bridges real estate and home staging. We specialize in prepping homes so they stand out in the market—whether through full staging or strategic design consultations. What sets us apart is our seamless process—we handle everything behind the scenes so clients feel confident and stress-free. I’m proud of how we make selling a home feel less overwhelming and actually enjoyable. We believe in the process we’ve created. As you know, the real estate market has its ups and downs, but we’ve designed a system that brings consistency and value no matter the conditions.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I hope we’re working with even more sellers who truly benefit from our services. It’s especially rewarding to support those who are downsizing or growing their families, taking that stress off their shoulders.
