Hi Ron, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
# About Me
My name is Ronaldo Evangelista, and I’m a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and retired federal civil servant with a combined 32 years of service to our country. Before becoming a full-time intuitive, I spent my career working in military and government service, which taught me discipline, integrity, and the importance of serving others.
About five years before retiring from federal service, I started my spiritual reading business as a part-time way to help supplement our household income. I would work my regular full-time job during the day, come home, have dinner, and then open my business around 9:00 in the evening. Night after night, I would meet with clients by phone or online, balancing two careers because I genuinely loved helping people. By the time I retired from federal service, my practice had grown enough that I was able to devote myself to it full time.
Today, I provide tarot readings, intuitive guidance, and spiritual counseling for people from all walks of life. My goal isn’t to tell people what to do. My goal is to help them gain clarity, see situations from a different perspective, and make more informed decisions. Most of my clients come to me for relationship guidance, which has become my specialty, but my readings also explore family dynamics, career decisions, business matters, finances, personal growth, education, and life’s many crossroads.
I also offer mediumship when I feel a genuine connection can be established. Not every reading becomes a mediumship session, and I believe it’s important to be honest about that. I simply work with whatever presents itself during the reading.
Another service I offer is home blessings. Occasionally I’m invited into clients’ homes to perform blessings or to provide readings during birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations, retirement parties, and other special events. I enjoy being part of those occasions because they allow people to experience tarot in a relaxed, uplifting, and meaningful environment.
People often ask whether I do health readings. While I may sometimes pick up energetic areas that deserve attention, I always make it clear that I’m not a physician and I never diagnose medical conditions. If I sense something that concerns me, I encourage my clients to follow up with their healthcare provider. My readings are meant to complement good medical care, never replace it.
Although clients often ask for predictions, I generally focus less on trying to predict the future and more on understanding the energy that’s unfolding in the present. I believe people have free will, and today’s choices can change tomorrow’s outcome. My readings are designed to help clients navigate where things appear to be headed and what they can do to create the best possible future for themselves.
I consider myself an intuitive first and foremost. Over the years I’ve developed my own reading style, combining tarot with intuition to understand not only people and relationships, but also larger dynamics involving families, workplaces, organizations, and sometimes even broader world events. My approach is practical, compassionate, and centered on helping people find clarity rather than creating fear.
Spiritually, I consider myself a Gnostic Christian. I grew up in both Catholic and Protestant traditions, and my lifelong spiritual journey eventually led me to Gnostic Christianity, where I found a deeper appreciation for personal spiritual experience, self-discovery, and the belief that the divine can be encountered directly through inner awakening.
I’ve been spiritually curious for as long as I can remember. Even as a child, I experienced vivid dreams and intuitive impressions that made me question the nature of consciousness, life, and what exists beyond what we can physically see. Those early experiences eventually became the foundation for the work I do today.
Clients can schedule readings through my website, and sessions are available by phone, Zoom, video chat, email, text, or in person. Since I’m naturally a night owl, I typically see clients later in the day, which fits both my schedule and many of theirs.
One of the greatest joys of this work is witnessing the relief people feel when they leave a reading with a clearer understanding of their lives. Whether someone is facing a difficult decision, grieving the loss of a loved one, working through relationship challenges, or simply looking for direction, my hope is that every client leaves feeling more empowered, more hopeful, and more connected to themselves than when they arrived.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple purpose: to serve others by offering insight, compassion, and clarity during the moments when they need it most.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the most meaningful chapters of my life began after my marriage ended.
I had been with my former husband for 27 years, and walking away from that relationship was one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever made. Even though it was the right decision, it required me to rebuild many parts of my life, including my confidence, my sense of peace, and even my understanding of myself.
Not long afterward, I met my partner, Kevin.
Like many people who find each other later in life, we both brought our own life experiences and past hurts into the relationship. In the beginning, we weren’t just learning about each other, we were also healing from the chapters that came before us.
One of the greatest gifts he’s given me has been his encouragement to take better care of my mental health. He encouraged me to begin therapy, and I’m incredibly grateful that I listened. Therapy helped me grow in ways I never expected. It strengthened my emotional well-being, improved my relationships, and gave me healthier tools for navigating life’s challenges.
Today, our relationship is stronger than ever. We’ve been together for more than three years, and we’ve grown tremendously both as individuals and as a couple. We understand one another deeply, support each other’s goals, and make a wonderful team.
Looking ahead, we’re excited about the future. In the next three or four years, we hope to relocate to the Philippines, where I plan to retire and enjoy a slower pace of life. Before then, Kevin plans to continue taking classes and pursuing his own personal and professional goals while we build that future together.
When I look back over my journey, I realize that every chapter, whether joyful or painful, helped shape the person I am today. My years of military service, my government career, the challenges of entrepreneurship, the end of a long marriage, my spiritual path, therapy, and finding love again have all taught me the same lesson:
Growth is rarely easy, but it’s always worth it.
Those experiences have made me a better person, a better partner, and, I believe, a better intuitive for the people who trust me to help guide them through their own journeys.

## My Professional Background
Before becoming a full-time professional intuitive, I spent more than three decades serving my country through both military and federal civilian service.
I enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1982 and proudly served for 20 years before retiring with an honorable retirement.
My first assignment was at the U.S. Air Force Academy Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where I worked as an Orthopedic and Operating Room Technician from 1982 to 1986. During those years, I developed a deep appreciation for patient care, teamwork, discipline, and performing well under pressure. It was also during this time that my first child was born, making those years especially meaningful both personally and professionally.
In 1986, I was reassigned to Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma, where I transitioned into the computer field. Although I received training in computer programming, I ultimately found my niche supporting computer systems and assisting users with technical issues. I enjoyed solving problems and helping people, something that would later become a common thread throughout my career.
One thing many people don’t know about me is that I’ve always had a creative side. I enjoy art and graphic design, and my leadership often asked me to create promotion displays and recognition materials for ceremonies and special events. It became one of the unexpected ways I was able to contribute beyond my official duties.
Later in my military career, I spent a year stationed in South Korea, an assignment that broadened my perspective both professionally and personally. Every assignment taught me something different, and each one helped prepare me for the next chapter of my life.
After retiring from the Air Force, I continued serving by working as a government contractor before eventually being hired as a federal civil servant. During my civilian career, I continued working in information technology while also completing both my bachelor’s degree and my Master’s degree in Information Systems, accomplishments that remain among my proudest achievements.
Although I was successful in information technology, I eventually realized that my greatest passion wasn’t computers. It was people.
Throughout my government career, I became known as someone who genuinely enjoyed helping others solve problems. Whether the problem involved technology or something more personal, I found fulfillment in listening, analyzing situations, and helping people find practical solutions. Looking back, I realize those skills naturally carried over into the intuitive work I do today.
One of the accomplishments I’m most proud of was balancing two very different careers for five years. I worked full-time for the federal government during the day, then came home each evening and operated my reading business part-time. It required discipline, commitment, and a tremendous amount of perseverance, but it also confirmed that helping people through intuitive guidance was where my heart truly belonged.
What sets me apart is the combination of experiences I’ve had throughout my life.
I’m a military veteran, a retired federal employee, a Filipino American, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and the owner of a minority-owned small business. Those experiences have allowed me to connect with people from many different backgrounds and walks of life. I understand what it’s like to reinvent yourself, overcome adversity, and start over, and I believe those experiences make me a more compassionate listener and a better guide for my clients.
Today, I bring together the discipline I learned in the military, the analytical thinking I developed in information technology, and the intuition I’ve cultivated over many years. Together, those experiences have shaped not only the work I do, but also the person I’ve become.
