Hi Lindsey, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Fifteen years ago in a classroom with nineteen other women, and one man (poor soul), learning acupressure and massage techniques I discovered what they meant when they spoke about “finding your purpose”. It took thirteen years longer for me to step out on faith and create a space that could not be more authentically “me” if I tried… Welcome to ‘The Witching Hour Spa’ ; a sacred space for Women, where Massage and Magick meet!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Opening a business is not for the faint of heart, but in the spring of 2026 I celebrated two years and that is quite a feat I am proud to have achieved and I am just getting started, there are some exciting things coming to The Witching Hour this year. Truthfully the biggest challenge has been growing rapidly as a solo practitioner, and after fifteen years, I desperately need a second set of hands!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The massages at The Witching Hour Spa, what I have created, is a blend of energy work and traditional body work. I specialize in Spa treatments that are often passed over in a general massage setting.
As a Reiki practitioner and empath my sixth sense is always twitching and stirring up something amazing in our sessions that can only be described as…Magic! Each session is named and curated for a massage experience, come see and feel for yourself.
How do you define success?
Twenty years ago I would’ve said you’re not successful unless you have stacks of money in the bank and a worry free mind, alas age has brought wisdom and more life lessons than I’d like to count. I have learned that true success, for me that is, can only be defined by the joy I bring to others. The impact I’ve had in the lives of those around me. Has my presence in your life brought you joy, has my touch changed your life and the way you move in the world? If the answer is yes, then success has found me and everything else’s will come in stride.
