Today we’d like to introduce you to Nailah Queen.
Hi Nailah, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Nailah Queen, wife, mother, CEO, philanthropist, innovator, self-care advocate, business mentor, influencer, travel enthusiast, and serial entrepreneur. I’ve always had some sort of side hustle growing up and decided in 2015 to step out on faith and become a part-time entrepreneur. I did this so that I could leave a legacy for my son and family so while still working full time, I started Royalty Escapes Travel Agency and since then have opened Realeza Styles Travel Clothing and Accessory Line, the successfully emerging Regally Insane Hair, and Body Health Line and “It’s Nailah” the hub for Nailah “The Brand” coaching and business services. I am very involved in mentoring other entrepreneurs just starting out and also connecting with those who are seasoned to build the African American entrepreneur community. It’s important to be part of the change we want to see and entrepreneurship allows us to have a seat at the table without having to ask for it.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been easy. In a male-dominated space, as a woman and African American at that, I’ve had to learn to use my voice and that my voice is powerful. We tend to be overlooked and our credibility, education and expertise oftentimes questioned simply because of the exterior color and sex that people see. I’ve learned to unapologetically speak a truth that is a direct reflection of myself and soo many other amazing women in the world today that may not have found their voice yet. We deserve to be in the spaces that we are placed in that’s aligned with our goals. I feel it’s my duty, my calling and my charge to use my platform, exposure, and voice for the betterment and uplifting of our women.

As a lover of all things involving women, I started Its Nailah to create space for women to find and use their voice through my empowerment events, establish legacies and create wealth through my business consulting services and to dive deep and explore their “why” through my group programs and courses. My methods are tried and true and real-time research-based to provide high-quality personal and professional development. I bridge a union between the two as both are needed to form a healthy foundation so that we can be the best version of ourselves in any capacity. My women’s empowerment summits, interactive goal-setting workshops, business besties group, and coaching has allowed me to make a difference in the lives of the women I serve.
