Hi Mariyah , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I actually got started after accepting an offer from my high school to work in the office for a TA credit instead of assisting a teacher. At the time, I mainly did it because my parents wouldn’t allow me to have a half day like most other seniors, so I needed another option. I was angry with my parents at the time but looking back, it ended up shaping my entire career path.
It was a huge learning curve since I had never worked in an office setting before, but I instantly loved it! I realized really quickly that I genuinely enjoyed helping things run smoothly, staying organized, problem solving, and being the person people could rely on behind the scenes.
From there, what started as helping in a school office turned into personal, administrative, and executive assisting opportunities. Over time, I gained hands-on experience managing schedules, coordinating projects, assisting businesses and individuals, and adapting to different clients and industries.
As I kept receiving positive feedback and seeing the impact my work had on people’s lives and businesses, it made me start thinking bigger about how I could turn those skills into something entrepreneurial. That eventually led me to building a business centered around making life easier for others through assisting, coordination, organization, and customized support services.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing in life worth having comes easy, and entrepreneurship is no exception. Like many business owners, I’ve dealt with the traditional challenges such as competition, navigating the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and struggling at times to find the right employees and team members.
But one of the biggest challenges for me personally was building everything without really having anyone close to me who was also an entrepreneur. I didn’t have family members or close friends I could go to for business advice, to share experiences with, or even learn from their mistakes. A lot of this journey was truly built from the ground up through trial, error, self-teaching, and figuring things out on my own.
At times that was overwhelming, but it also taught me resilience, adaptability, and how to trust myself. Every challenge became a lesson, and every setback helped shape the way I run my business today.

My business was built around making life easier while also creating memorable, customized experiences for our clients! We specialize in

all designed to be flexible based on each client’s needs.
One thing that really sets us apart is our tiered structure which allows clients to choose the level of support and customization that works best for them instead of a one-size-fits-all approach.
Some of our favorite offerings are our event rentals and DIY Tee Bar experiences. The DIY Tee Bar has become a client favorite because it adds an interactive, personalized element to events while letting guests create custom apparel on-site.
What I’m most proud of brand-wise is building something versatile, creative, and genuinely helpful from the ground up. We’ve created a brand that combines organization, creativity, convenience, and customization all in one.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
Absolutely! Tools like Canva, ChatGPT, and Linktree help me stay organized, create efficiently, and keep everything connected across platforms. Social media is huge for our brand too, especially TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook for staying inspired, marketing, and connecting with our audience.
For reading, I love Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes, it’s such a good reminder to stay open to opportunities and trust growth even when it feels uncomfortable!
A blog I’d recommend is The Everygirl. I love that it covers entrepreneurship, lifestyle, productivity, branding, and real-life experiences in a way that feels motivating and relatable.
