Today we’d like to introduce you to Lesli Corbin.
Hi Lesli, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
For much of my life, I knew how to be successful.
I spent nearly 30 years in the corporate world, building a career in the employee benefits industry. I worked hard, often 75 hours a week, and became very good at doing what was expected of me. I knew how to solve problems, take responsibility, lead initiatives, keep moving, and be strong.
From the outside, I was accomplishing everything I was supposed to accomplish. But somewhere along the way, I began to realize that corporate success did not leave me feeling fulfilled. I KNEW there had to be more.
Then life brought me experiences I couldn’t work my way out of with longer hours or sound reasoning. Loss, profound challenges within my family, relationships, grief, and experiences that shook my understanding of who I really was eventually forced me to ask a question that is often asked by those who are struggling, “Why am I here?”
I began exploring spirituality, energy work, ancestral wisdom, shamanic practices, and the deeper mysteries of consciousness. I read, studied, found teachers, participated in ceremonies, and spiritual practices. Slowly, I began listening to something within me that I had ignored for way too many years.
I began to realize that the Earth had been teaching me all along. The trees, rivers, animals, seasons, fire, water, wind, and soil had always been there, but I started paying attention in a different way.
The river taught me about movement and how to bend around obstacles without giving up my direction.
The seasons taught me that change is inevitable and that an ending doesn’t necessarily mean something has gone wrong but that the timing was not yet divine.
The trees taught me that reaching and expanding requires deep roots.
Earth taught me something I continue to learn: death and endings don’t mean that something is simply gone. They can become the soil from which something new grows.
As I paid more attention, I began to see how disconnected so many of us have become, not just from nature, but from our bodies, our ancestry, our intuition, our communities, and parts of ourselves. I quickly realized I was not the only one searching.
My own journey became the foundation for the work I do today.
I bring together what I have learned through my professional life, my spiritual path, my personal experiences, my ancestral lineage, and my relationship with Earth. As an Earth Priestess, Eco-spiritual Mentor, Trauma-Informed Facilitator, Writer, and Guide, I work with people who are standing at a threshold in their lives and are ready to question old beliefs, release what no longer fits, and discover what comes next.
I strive to help people recognize the stories they’ve been carrying, determine if these beliefs serve their highest good, and reconnect with the wisdom that has been there all along.
I spent much of my life learning how to succeed in the world. Now, I am passionate about helping others remember how to belong to the living Earth.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey has not been smooth. I spent so much time and energy focused on succeeding in a high-pressured, corporate environment, that the essence of who I am and wanted to be was lost.
After my mother had a stroke and my teenage son was diagnosed with severe mental illness, I realized that my corporate success didn’t prevent or make these challenges easier. In fact, juggling the responsibilities of caring for family members in need with my corporate responsibilities felt impossible at times.
We’ve been impressed with Quantum Journey, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
So many of us are searching for connection, purpose, and belonging in our lives while overlooking one of our oldest sources of wisdom, the living Earth.
I help people deepen their relationship with themselves through past life regressions, akashic records reading, numerology, and energy work.
But, just as importantly, I help people deepen their relationship with Earth while reconnecting with their own intuition, ancestry, authentic self, and sense of purpose. My work is especially meaningful for people who find themselves at a threshold in life. They may be questioning who they are, grieving what has been lost, releasing old beliefs and identities, or sensing that the way they have been living no longer fits who they are becoming.
What sets my work apart is that nature is not simply the setting for what I do. Earth is an active participant, teacher, mirror and mentor.
I bring this philosophy into retreats, workshops, immersive experiences, writing, mentoring, spiritual practices, and Earth-centered activities that invite people to experience these teachings rather than simply talk about them. My approach weaves together eco-spirituality, ancestral wisdom, personal reflection, trauma-informed practices, ceremony, and direct relationship with the natural world.
I am particularly passionate about helping people recognize the beliefs and stories they have inherited or accumulated throughout their lives. Rather than telling people what to believe or giving them another spiritual doctrine to follow, I encourage curiosity. I want people to rediscover their own inner knowing and develop a relationship with the living world that continues long after a retreat, workshop, or mentoring session ends.
What I am most proud of is creating work that brings spirituality literally back down to Earth. Spirituality does not have to exist somewhere outside of us or require us to transcend being human. Ultimately, my work is about belonging.
How do you define success?
For a long time, I defined success by what I could accomplish. A successful life meant working hard, being dependable, solving problems, achieving goals, and being someone others could count on.
Today, I define success very differently. Success is being in alignment with myself, with the people I love, with my purpose, and with the living Earth.
Success isn’t about having everything figured out anymore. It’s about:
-being present enough to recognize when life is asking me to grow, having the willingness to change, and trusting myself enough to follow what feels meaningful.
-being able to help someone else reconnect with themselves.
-watching someone release a belief that has limited them or discover something they didn’t know was possible or remember that they always belonged.
Success is not how much I can accomplish, but how deeply I can live, how authentically I can show up, and what I can leave better than I found it.
