Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have had a sincere love of teaching children since a young age. I always wanted to know how the mind works when it comes to learning. For me, school was easy and I loved it. However, I often wondered why others struggled academically.
From 1999- 2015 I taught Sunday School and Children’ s Church ast every congregation I attended. This is where I learned to develop lesson plans and curriculum.
The statistics outlining a decline in learning during covid especially concerned me. This was the strongest impetus for me to get started.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road. I have invested, I’m thousands of dollars of my own money yo get started.
First of all, family and friends asked “why would you want to work with children when you have a good government job?” When I told them the dissatisfaction I had with my job, then they did not understand. I felt as no one was listening to my desperate plea to get out of what I call work week angst.
2020 was the toughest year. My house flooded and I had t9 fight with the insurance company for proper repair. I was involved in two car accidents in 2018 and 2020.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
My faith is definitely a big driver for my success. Even when I wanted to give up, the Lord would not let me. He kept giving me deeper revelation as to why I should do this business. This is what gave me the strength to persevere and succeed.
