Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m Nevar Moore Harris, an accountant, entrepreneur, content creator, and multi-passionate businesswoman who has spent nearly two decades building a career in finance while turning my creativity into multiple business ventures.
My professional background is rooted in accounting and financial management, where I’ve managed everything from payroll and business operations to multimillion-dollar budgets. But entrepreneurship has always been where I allow myself to think bigger. Over the years, I’ve explored digital products, e-commerce, AI-powered content and technology, publishing, financial education, and most recently, trading.
What connects everything I build is my belief that we don’t have to fit into one box. I’ve learned how to take the skills I developed in my career of understanding numbers, systems, strategy, and business and combine them with technology and creativity to create new opportunities.
I’m also a wife and mother , so my definition of success has evolved. I’m no longer interested in simply being busy or building businesses that require me to constantly trade my time for money. I’m intentionally creating a life centered around ownership, flexibility, financial independence, and having the freedom to actually enjoy what I’ve worked so hard to build.
My journey hasn’t been perfectly linear and I think that’s part of what makes it worth sharing. I’ve launched ideas, pivoted, learned new industries, experienced wins and setbacks, and continued evolving. Today, I’m focused on building smarter, leveraging emerging technology, strengthening my skills as an investor and entrepreneur, and showing other multi-passionate women that they don’t have to choose just one version of themselves to become successful.
I’m building a life where my income supports my freedom not one where I sacrifice my life to maintain my income.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of my biggest struggles has been learning how to balance being a wife and mother of a large family, maintaining a demanding career in accounting, and still making room for the entrepreneur in me.
For a long time, I thought success meant working harder. I became very good at carrying a lot multiple contracts, family responsibilities, clients, and businesses but eventually I realized that being capable of doing everything doesn’t mean I should be doing everything.
Entrepreneurship has also required me to become comfortable with trial and error. I’m naturally multi-passionate, so I’ve explored several industries and business models. Some ideas worked, some didn’t, and others simply weren’t aligned with the life I wanted anymore. There were times when I questioned whether pivoting meant I was failing. I eventually realized that every business taught me something about marketing, technology, finances, consumer behavior, and, most importantly, myself.
I’ve also had to navigate financial pressure, burnout, family responsibilities, personal loss, and the fear that can come with stepping away from the security of a traditional career to create something different.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that success isn’t just about how much money you can make it’s also about how you have to live in order to make it. Today, I’m much more intentional about building businesses and income streams that support the life I want.
The road hasn’t been smooth, but every pivot, setback, and lesson has helped me become a more disciplined businesswoman. I’m still building, still learning, and still evolving and I’ve finally learned that the journey doesn’t have to look traditional to be successful.

I’m passionate about making things that can initially feel complicated, like creating digital products, building websites and apps, launching e-commerce businesses, developing content, and using AI tools, feel much more approachable.
What makes the brand different is that I’m not teaching from the perspective of having everything figured out. I’m actively building, testing, learning, and evolving too. When I find a tool or strategy that can simplify the process of creating something or potentially open another stream of income, I want to show other people how they can use it as well.

My accounting background gives me the financial and operational side of entrepreneurship, while my love for technology and content allows me to create and experiment.
Ultimately, I want TheNevarMoore.com to become a resource for people especially multi-passionate women who have ideas but may not know how to turn those ideas into something tangible. Whether that means launching a digital product, experimenting with AI, starting an online business, or simply learning a new skill, I want people to leave my platform thinking, “I can actually do this.”
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I’ve been fortunate to have several people play important roles in my journey, but my biggest support system has been my family. My mother Cora Lee Baldwin, has been my cheerleader forever ! It’s has been a joy to have her in my life.
My husband, Shawn, has been beside me through so many versions of myself and my businesses. Entrepreneurship can come with a lot of ideas, pivots, late nights, experiments, wins, and the occasional “Okay, hear me out I have another idea.” Through all of that, he has supported me, encouraged me, and given me the space to continue figuring out what I truly want to build.
My children are also a huge part of my “why.” They motivate me to think beyond simply earning an income and focus on creating ownership, financial freedom, and something that can have an impact beyond me. I want them to see firsthand that you can reinvent yourself, learn new things at any stage of life, and create opportunities instead of waiting for them.
I also have to give credit to the mentors, leaders, colleagues, coaches, and other entrepreneurs I’ve learned from throughout my career. I’ve spent nearly two decades in finance and accounting, and every position has taught me something that I now use as a business owner from understanding financial systems and operations to managing people, solving problems, and making decisions.
My clients deserve credit as well. Every person who has trusted me with their business, purchased something I created, asked for my advice, or allowed me to help bring an idea to life has contributed to my growth. My clients have often challenged me to learn new technology, find better solutions, and expand what I thought I was capable of doing.
And sometimes your greatest cheerleaders are simply the people who tell you, “You can do this,” when you’re still trying to convince yourself.
Although my name is on TheNevarMoore.com, my journey certainly hasn’t been built by me alone. It has been shaped by the people who have loved me, trusted me, taught me, challenged me, and given me opportunities along the way. I’m incredibly grateful for all of them.
