Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Bosdosh.
Hi stephanie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started WedWithSteph in 2019 with a love for weddings, design, and—most importantly—creating experiences that people genuinely remember. What started as a small passion project quickly grew into something much bigger than I ever imagined.
As I took on more weddings, I realized there was a real need for a planning company that could do more than simply create a timeline. I wanted to be the person who could help couples bring their vision to life while also handling the countless details, logistics, design decisions, and behind-the-scenes problem solving that make a wedding day run smoothly. From planning and coordination to florals, décor, rentals, and other event services, WedWithSteph continued to grow organically through referrals, relationships, and a lot of hard work.
Over the years, the business has evolved from just me into an amazing team of women who help bring our couples’ wedding days to life. Since 2022, our team has had the opportunity to plan and coordinate hundreds of weddings, working with couples and vendors throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia, Florida, South Carolina and beyond.
Today, WedWithSteph is a full-service wedding and Florist company, but at the heart of the business, my goal is still the same as when I started: to make the wedding planning process feel less overwhelming, more fun, and completely personal to each couple. I’m incredibly proud of how far the business has come, and even more excited about where it’s going next.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road, and honestly, I think some of the hardest parts of building this business have also been the most valuable.
When I first started, I was doing everything myself. I was the planner, coordinator, designer, florist, administrator, salesperson, social media manager, and probably about ten other jobs I didn’t even realize came with owning a business. Learning how to not only plan beautiful weddings but also run a profitable business was a huge learning curve.
One of the biggest challenges has been learning how to grow without losing the personal touch that made people trust me in the first place. As the number of weddings grew, so did the team, inventory, expenses, clients, vendors, and responsibilities. I had to learn how to delegate, create systems, set boundaries, and trust other people to help bring the WedWithSteph experience to life.
The wedding industry also comes with its own unique challenges. Things change constantly, unexpected problems happen, and no two wedding days are ever the same. There have been plenty of moments where I’ve had to figure things out on the fly, solve problems behind the scenes, and keep a calm face for the couple even when something was going completely sideways.
There have also been seasons where I questioned whether I was doing enough or whether I was growing the “right” way. Entrepreneurship can feel isolating, especially when you are responsible for so many decisions.
But those challenges have ultimately shaped the business into what it is today. I’ve learned that success isn’t about everything going perfectly—it’s about being willing to adapt, learn from mistakes, keep showing up, and continuously improve.
Looking back, I’m actually grateful for a lot of the hard seasons because they forced me to become a better business owner, leader, and planner. The business today is very different from what I started in 2019, and I think that evolution is one of the things I’m most proud of.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
At WedWithSteph, we specialize in creating wedding days that feel incredibly personal while also being beautifully designed and exceptionally organized. We’re a full-service wedding and event company offering planning, coordination, florals, décor, rentals, and a variety of event services, so our couples can have both the creative vision and the logistical execution handled under one roof.
I think what we’re best known for is taking a couple’s ideas—even when they don’t completely know how to articulate what they want—and turning them into a cohesive wedding day. We love the details, but we also understand that the details only matter if the entire experience works. From the floor plan and timeline to the flowers, tablescape, guest experience, and all the little things happening behind the scenes, we’re constantly looking at the wedding as a whole.
What I’m most proud of is the team we’ve built and the number of couples we’ve been able to serve. What started as just me has grown into an incredible team of women who bring different strengths and personalities to the business. We’ve been fortunate enough to plan and coordinate hundreds of weddings, and I’m incredibly proud that so much of our growth has come from referrals and relationships within the wedding industry.
I also think our biggest differentiator is that we actually care about the entire wedding experience. We aren’t just there to hand someone a timeline or make sure the ceremony starts on time. We want to know the couple, understand what matters to them, create a design that feels like them, and then be the people behind the scenes making sure everything actually happens. We want all our couples to feel heard and loved through the experience.
We’re very hands-on, very solutions-oriented, and probably a little obsessive about details—in the best way. When something inevitably goes wrong on a wedding day, our couples shouldn’t have to know about it. Our job is to solve the problem, keep things moving, and let them enjoy their day.
Ultimately, I’m most proud that WedWithSteph has become a company where couples can truly hand over the reins and trust us. We get to be part of one of the most important days of someone’s life, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
There are so many ways to work with and support WedWithSteph!
The most obvious is, of course, working with us for your wedding or event! Couples can work with our team for full or partial planning, day-of coordination, florals, décor, rentals, and other event services. We love getting involved at whatever level makes the most sense for each couple and helping bring their vision to life.
We also absolutely love collaborating with other wedding professionals. Some of my favorite parts of this industry are the relationships we build with photographers, venues, caterers, DJs, florists, hair and makeup artists, rental companies, and other vendors. We’re always open to creating together, referring business to one another, and finding ways to make the wedding industry stronger as a whole.
And honestly, one of the best ways people can support us is simply by following along, sharing our work, recommending us to a newly engaged friend, leaving a review, or telling someone about their experience working with us. Small businesses are built so much on word of mouth, and every referral, kind review, social media share, and introduction truly means something.
We’re always looking for opportunities to collaborate, create something fun, meet new people, and continue growing the WedWithSteph community. So whether you’re a couple looking for a planning team, a vendor looking for a great team to work alongside, or someone who just loves following weddings and supporting small businesses—we’d love to have you along for the ride!
