Hi Paula, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey began with a love for bringing people together and creating meaningful experiences through thoughtful details and beautiful design. That passion gradually grew into Jubilee Party Co., where I bring creative visions to life through luxury picnics, curated tablescapes, balloon décor, and event styling.
As the business has grown, I’ve learned that what I love most isn’t simply creating beautiful spaces, but crafting experiences that make people feel something. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with talented local vendors, explore new creative ideas, and continually expand what Jubilee has to offer. Each experience has helped me grow both personally and professionally, encouraging me to dream bigger and become more intentional about the business I’m building.
Today, I’m proud of how far Jubilee Party Co. has come and excited about what’s ahead. I’m continuing to grow my vision, build meaningful connections within my community, and create experiences that bring people together in memorable ways. Ultimately, this journey is about more than event styling; it’s about creating forever moments that my clients will look back on fondly for years to come.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road. Building a business from the ground up comes with a lot of learning, trial and error, and moments of uncertainty. One of the biggest challenges has been learning how to balance the creative side of the business with everything that happens behind the scenes, from marketing and client communication to managing flactuating costs and finding ways to continue growing in a flourishing industry.
There have also been times when growth has required patience, stepping outside of my comfort zone, and trusting the vision even when things haven’t moved as quickly as I’d hoped. I’ve learned that building a business takes consistency, resilience, and a willingness to keep learning and adapting. While the challenges haven’t always been easy, they’ve helped me become more self-confident and more intentional about the business I’m building. I’m learning to appreciate the process just as much as the milestones, and to see each challenge as an opportunity to grow.

At Jubilee Party Co., I believe the details make the celebration. My business brings together two creative passions: statement-making balloon décor and installations, and beautifully curated tablescapes and luxury picnics. From transforming a space with an eye-catching balloon design to creating an elegant tablescape that brings people together, I love turning ideas into something tangible, beautiful, and uniquely personal.
What I’m most proud of is the opportunity to take a client’s vision and bring it to life in a way that exceeds their expectations. I love playing with colors, textures, and unexpected details to create designs that feel cohesive, thoughtful, and memorable. I want my work to do more than look beautiful in photos; I want it to help set the tone for a celebration and create an experience people genuinely enjoy.
I think what sets Jubilee apart is the balance between creativity and intention. Every celebration has its own story, and I love finding ways to reflect that through my designs. Whether it’s a bold balloon installation or an intimate, thoughtfully styled gathering, my goal is always the same: to create something that feels special to the people it’s made for and becomes part of a memory they’ll cherish for years to come.
