Hi Maria, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I got started in real estate at the age of 22 in 1984. It is an incredible journey. Today I lead a team of five. We are The Kolick Group. We wake up every day excited to impact and improve the lives of others to the glory of God by shining the light on the pathway to wealth through buying, selling, and investing in real estate. Today we are in the top 2% of realtors in the DMV and we know that happened because we strive to give not only to educate our clients but to give red carpet service, and an exciting and memorable journey.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Growing a team is not always easy. Learning how to manage not only our clients unique character makeup but also each other can be fun and challenging at the same time. When you work hard to know how people are designed, what their strengths and weakness are the world is an easier place to navigate because we have a better understanding of people operate.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
The Kolick Group has worked hard to develop systems that make the road to home ownership smoother. Because we have been blessed to work with so many different buyer in so many different markets, we have put together The Kolick Groups ” Secret Strategies.” These strategies are what we have learned to position our clients to win. Constant communication is another thing that our clients say they love about us. Be it texting, email or my favorite, the old-fashioned phone call, we do it all to ensure the journey from contract to settlement runs smoothly.
What does success mean to you?
Watching the team learn and grow, and being not just a part of the client real estate journey, but their friend and “Real Estate Counselor For Life.” Our journey with our clients never ends.
