Today we’d like to introduce you to JNicole Corley.
Hi JNicole, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey started with a strong desire to help people and create opportunities. I spent years working in healthcare, building a career through roles in patient care, emergency medicine, phlebotomy, medical assisting, hospice, and home health. Those experiences taught me resilience, compassion, leadership, and how important it is to show up for people.
Over time, I realized I had another calling—building something of my own. I wanted to create a platform where businesses, artists, entrepreneurs, and creatives could be seen, connected, and given opportunities to grow.
That vision led me to create Elegance Empire Media Group LLC (EEMG), a media and branding company focused on helping people build brands, create opportunities, connect visionaries, and take their dreams to a larger audience.
From there, I expanded into producing and developing projects like Built in the South, while also developing my artist persona, LUXARA, and continuing to explore new ways to support entrepreneurs and creatives.
I’ve learned that my story isn’t about having everything figured out from the beginning. It’s about continuing to evolve, taking every experience with me, and turning what I’ve learned into something bigger.
Today, I’m building EEMG with the goal of creating a lasting media and business platform that opens doors for others while continuing to grow as a CEO, producer, creative, and entrepreneur. I’m still building—but I’m proud of how far I’ve come and even more excited about where I’m going.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ve experienced setbacks, disappointments, financial challenges, and moments where I questioned whether I was on the right path. Building something from the ground up while balancing work, family, and my own personal growth has required a lot of sacrifice.
One of my biggest struggles has been learning that having a vision doesn’t always mean everyone will see it the way you do. I’ve had to learn how to deal with people who didn’t follow through, opportunities that didn’t work out the way I expected, and moments when I felt like I was putting in more than I was getting back.
There have also been times when I’ve had to start over, rethink my direction, and remind myself why I started in the first place. But those experiences have taught me how to be more strategic, protect my vision, and stop allowing setbacks to define me.
I’m still overcoming obstacles, but I no longer look at challenges as proof that I should quit. I look at them as part of the process. Every struggle has taught me something that I can use to build EEMG stronger and create better opportunities for myself and for the people I work with.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Professionally, I consider myself a media entrepreneur, producer, creative strategist, and brand builder. My career began in healthcare, where I spent years working in different areas of patient care and developed a strong foundation in leadership, communication, and serving people. Eventually, I realized that my creativity and entrepreneurial vision were just as strong as my desire to help others.
That realization led me to build Elegance Empire Media Group LLC (EEMG), a media and branding company focused on helping businesses, artists, entrepreneurs, and creatives build their brands, create opportunities, connect with the right people, and turn their visions into something bigger.
Through EEMG, I work across media, branding, artist development, promotional opportunities, creative projects, and production. I am also the host, moderator, and producer behind Built in the South, a project created to highlight Southern entrepreneurs, creatives, and visionaries and give them a platform to tell their stories.
One thing I’m especially proud of is that I didn’t wait for someone else to give me a seat at the table—I started building my own table. I’ve taken my experiences, creativity, and determination and turned them into a growing business and platform.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just see the person or business in front of me; I see the potential of what they can become. I’m passionate about creating opportunities and bringing people together. I’m still growing, but my goal has always been bigger than simply building a business—I want to build something that creates opportunities for other people while leaving a lasting impact.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is seeing an idea turn into something real. I enjoy creating, building, and helping other people recognize their own potential. Whether I’m working on a business, developing a creative project, supporting someone else’s vision, or watching something I started grow, it gives me a sense of purpose.
I’m happiest when I know I’m making an impact—not just for myself, but for the people connected to me. Seeing someone gain confidence, receive an opportunity, or take a step closer to their goals reminds me why I keep pushing. It makes the hard work feel worthwhile.
