Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Michelle.
Hi Samantha, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I come from a musical family. We all sing and/or play instruments. I’m talking, my grandparents, my parents, aunts and uncles, cousins, all of us. I started singing at the age of two. However, it wasn’t until I was around 18 that I actually became serious about my craft. I began studying, practicing, and investing in myself. And because my parents were Pastors, I naturally sang in church.
Since then I have served as a Worship Leader for multiple ministries in New Jersey and Virginia and recently released my single, “He Won’t Leave” on all streaming platforms.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. As a mom of three I’ve truly had to depend on God. Some bumps came from growing pains, learning and being young. Others came from just living life. I don’t think I’ve ever expected an easy or smooth road because in God it’s never promised that things will be easy but He does promise never to leave us!

I am a Worship Leader, Background Vocalist and Artist. Most people know me for exactly that, either singing at a church somewhere or an event.
I am most proud of my last assignment at my last church. I love to see people comforted and connected to God in a way they never imagined, through worship. And it is truly a gift to be able to bring people to a place of connecting what seems like a mere song to who God is for them and no one else. I believe that’s what sets me a part. My heart for people to be able to release the sadness, the stress, the weight of life in the presence of God. Being a vessel to assist in pointing people to the God who can do anything is a blessing and something I don’t take for granted.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
True success is being in alignment and fulfilling purpose. If you’re not doing what you’ve been placed on this earth to do, are you really successful?
