Community Highlights: Meet Natalia Hall of Consult With Natalia LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalia Hall.

Hi Natalia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story begins with family. Some of my earliest memories are of sitting in my grandmother’s living room watching The Little Rascals and the original Annie while she hot-combed my hair. I can still remember the familiar smells in her home, especially her greens. My parents worked hard and made sacrifices to give me and my sisters opportunities, and watching them helped shape my sense of responsibility and love for family.

As the oldest, I helped care for my younger sisters, Adriana and Camille. I loved them like they were my own babies. That experience helped me grow up quickly and planted a desire to nurture, lead, and show up for others.

When I moved to Atlanta, I found another part of my purpose through activism. Alongside people who became like family, I helped organize marches, protests, and community initiatives focused on police brutality and creating change in our communities. We marched to raise awareness for Kendrick Johnson, and those experiences showed me the power of people coming together for something bigger than themselves.

My path eventually led me into financial literacy and entrepreneurship. After working in banking and retail, I entered network marketing during a difficult season when I was unemployed and sleeping on my mother’s couch. I found a job while building my business, listened to leaders who inspired me, and kept going. In my first year, I made $25,000 in sales, and I tripled that in my second year. I was also recognized among the company’s 40 Under 40. What meant the most to me was being able to bring other people along and help them see what was possible for themselves.

Life has also brought challenges that reshaped me. After a traumatic relationship, I returned to Maryland with my two children to be closer to family and rebuild. Motherhood has given me an even deeper reason to grow, heal, and create a life filled with opportunity and love.

Today, I’m building my business, helping people through financial education and business development, and growing my nonprofit, SWAE—Sunlight, Water, Air, and Earth. My vision is to create gardening and workforce development spaces where young people can learn to grow food and herbs, develop skills, and explore entrepreneurship. I hope to eventually expand that vision into a farm where families and communities can learn and grow together.

This chapter of my life is about building meaningful relationships, learning more about myself, and being present for my children while continuing to make an impact. I’ve learned that growth doesn’t always happen in a straight line, but every part of my journey has helped shape the woman, mother, and leader I am becoming.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has not been smooth. I’ve faced financial uncertainty, unemployment, and periods when I didn’t know what my next step would be. At one point, I was sleeping on my mother’s couch while trying to find work and figure out how to support myself.

I also went through a traumatic relationship that included verbal abuse, infidelity, and emotional distance, including during my pregnancies and postpartum. Some of what I was going through became public, which added another layer of pain. Experiencing public humiliation and scrutiny while trying to process those circumstances privately left me feeling exposed and overwhelmed. It was difficult to navigate people’s opinions and judgment while also trying to protect my children and make sense of what was happening in my own life.

I carried a lot of guilt and questioned my worth. I also felt as though I had lost focus on my business and let people down. Housing and finances became increasingly difficult, especially when the rent went unpaid and I couldn’t catch up on my own.

Returning to Maryland with my children meant navigating another major transition while caring for two young children and trying to find stability. I’ve also been learning to recognize my own mental and emotional challenges while supporting my children through developmental evaluations. There have been moments when everything felt overwhelming, uncertain, and difficult to carry.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Consult With Natalia LLC ?
Consult With Natalia LLC is a community-centered business that helps individuals and organizations build stronger financial foundations and pursue their goals.

Through financial education, credit education and restoration services, Natalia helps people better understand their finances and take steps toward opportunities such as homeownership and financial stability. She also supports entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations with business development, grant readiness, and access to resources that can help them grow.

At the heart of Consult With Natalia is a passion for empowering families, connecting people with opportunities, and making financial knowledge more accessible.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Over the next five to ten years, I believe financial education and business development will become even more accessible through technology. More people will be able to use digital tools, online workshops, and artificial intelligence to learn about their finances, explore business ideas, and find resources that once may have felt out of reach.

At the same time, I think people will continue to value personal guidance and genuine connection. Technology can provide information, but many people still need someone who can listen to their circumstances, help them understand their options, and encourage them as they work toward their goals.

I also see an opportunity for more collaboration between businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations. When we bring financial education, entrepreneurship, and practical resources into the same spaces, we can help individuals and families build skills that benefit their communities as well.

For Consult With Natalia, I want to grow with those changes while keeping people at the center of what I do. Whether that’s through workshops, partnerships, or new ways to share education, my goal is to make information easier to understand and give people the confidence to take action.
