Hi Niya, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hello! My photography journey officially began in 2024 when someone I knew reached out and told me saying they’d pay me for my services, in regards to being the photographer for her daughter’s birthday party. My immediate thoughts were, “What services? What prices? With what CAMERA???”. Since it was for her little girl (you’ve got to love the kids!), I agreed to do it. With a couple of months to prepare, I ordered an inexpensive camera off Amazon and began practicing, learning, and discovering a gift I didn’t even realize I was cultivating.
Although I was excited to explore photography, I still struggled with confidence in my work. It took time for me to believe in what I was creating and find the courage to put myself out there. In January 2026, I finally took that step of faith and introduced my work to the world. Since then, I’ve been blessed with bookings and opportunities to do what I love, and I couldn’t be more grateful for how God continues to move in this journey!
Today, my goal is to do more than take beautiful pictures. I want to capture genuine moments, preserve meaningful memories, and create images that you and your loved ones can cherish for years to come. My business is built on faith, passion, growth, and the desire to use my God-given gift with purpose.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Honestly, by the grace of God, the road so far has been smooth. I’m my biggest critic, so when it comes to my work i’m always looking at areas I can improve and gain more knowledge.

Divine Glimpse is more than just a photography business; it’s a Kingdom business. My mission is to glorify the Lord through the gift He has blessed me with and to take territory for His Kingdom, even in the world of business and photography. Everything I do through Divine Glimpse is rooted in my faith and my desire to honor God.
I consider myself a versatile, well-rounded photographer because I enjoy capturing a variety of moments and stories. From events, sports, family portraits to headshots, business branding, and now venturing into real estate photography. I love being able to use my creativity across different areas of photography. However, what truly sets Divine Glimpse apart is the foundation it’s built on. God is at the center of my business, and I consider Him my business partner. I pray with my clients, for my clients, and even ask the Lord to lead the right clients to me. Because God is at the center of what I do, He directs my steps and gives my business purpose beyond my lenses.
What I’m most proud of is having the courage to step out on faith and bring Divine Glimpse to life. I began taking photos in 2024, but it took me two years to build the faith and confidence to put myself and my work out into the world. During that time, I had to learn to trust not only God’s timing but also the natural, God-given talent He placed within me. Taking that leap was a journey of growth, obedience, and learning to believe in what God had already equipped me to do.
Ultimately, Divine Glimpse is a reflection of my faith, my purpose, and my willingness to be used by God. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share the gift He has given me with others, and I look forward to seeing where He takes this business. All glory belongs to God, always!
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I believe the most important quality to my success is faith, paired with obedience and perseverance. My journey with Divine Glimpse has taught me that having a gift is one thing, but trusting God enough to walk in it is another.
My faith reminds me that this business is bigger than me. I’m not just building a photography brand; I’m building a business that glorifies God, while being willing to be used as a vessel to make a divine impact on every client I service.
Perseverance has also been essential because growth doesn’t happen overnight. It took me two years to find the confidence to put myself and my work out into the world, and that experience taught me the importance of being patient with myself while continuing to move forward.
Ultimately, my faith is my foundation, obedience is my response, and perseverance keeps me moving forward. I give God the glory for every opportunity, every client, and every step of the journey.
