Hi Natalee, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
GoodCleanFunLife began in 2009 as a way to share our personal passions, community life, and storytelling through multimedia platforms. Our goal was to show people having fun in a positive light by documenting our friends and local community members enjoying their downtime in what we called ‘adventuring.’ As the idea came to fruition, we quickly realized that we were gaining the unique opportunity to tell the story of life on Delmarva. As we covered local arts, entertainment, and events, we forged new friendships, discovered new businesses, and strengthened our desire to share stories through digital media and quality content.
GoodCleanFunLife began fifteen years ago as a personal creative outlet—a digital space dedicated to documenting the beauty of everyday moments, local adventures, and vibrant coastal living. What started as a passion project sharing photography and storytelling quickly resonated with a wider audience, evolving from a personal blog into a trusted lifestyle brand rooted in authenticity.
As demand grew for compelling visual content and strategic digital storytelling, that organic foundation transformed into GCFL Productions. Over the past decade and a half, the venture has expanded into a full-service digital media and marketing agency.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
As this started as a hobby, when we decided to make a go of it in 2013 with Todd running Media Production, I was still employed full-time. I did lose my job suddenly, and because of that we took the leap and threw our heart and soul into creating a business together. At the beginning, it was a struggle, and since then there have been times we have lost big clients, but we have always persevered and doubled down on maintaining the business.
