Life & Work with Rondez Green of Maryland

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rondez Green.

Hi Rondez, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am a digital creator and event host. I got my start in media by creating YouTube and Twitch content, eventually becoming a tech and gaming commentator.

I’ve worked as a communications manager for a couple of Maryland’s locally elected officials.

I come from a working class background, growing up in a trailer park on the outskirts of Aberdeen Proving Ground, relocating often to other small towns in Harford County.

I enjoy singing and dancing. I belong to a salsa & bachata dance club and take weekly vocal lessons.

I am a big fan of anime and cinema. My favorite watches, recently, include Ghost in the Shell, Mushishi-shi, Castlevania: Nocturne and Avatar Aang: the Last Airbender

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was far from a smooth road. I experienced persistent discrimination and classism. I am grateful to have such a supportive, loving community of friends.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
