Kathy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
For years, owner Kathy Filosi Nelson made English walnut toffee from an old family recipe – whether shared with family, friends, or teachers, it was always met with happiness and everyone wanting more! MFG Toffee & Bark Company was built on a passion for creating extraordinary ,globally-inspired toffees and barks that bring people together. MFG is dedicated to crafting small-batch toffees and chocolate barks that balance classic techniques with unexpected, sophisticated flavor combinations. Our confections reflect both our commitment to quality and our love of sharing something truly special.
Today, MFG toffee is enjoyed by customers across the country and beyond, while remaining proudly rooted in Baltimore’s vibrant culinary and artisan community. We work with and give back to our community by participating in events, donating product to medical and first responders and hiring locally.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
