Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Williams.
Hi Victoria , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story has really been one of creativity, resilience, and becoming. I’ve always loved creating, encouraging others, and turning ideas into something meaningful. Over the years, that has led me to become an author, entrepreneur, and creative, with my journey also including apparel, podcasting, and community building.
Through all of those experiences, I’ve realized the common thread in what I do is helping people feel seen, understood, and encouraged to become who they’re meant to be. Today, I’m the owner of V. Latesse, LLC and creator of Illumin8te HER, where I combine creativity, self-expression, and meaningful messaging.
I’m still evolving, but I’ve learned that you don’t have to have everything figured out to create something meaningful. My journey has been about trusting God, trusting myself, and continuing to move forward as the vision grows and changes.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of my biggest challenges has been learning how to balance having a lot of ideas with knowing which ones are actually meant for me in each season. I’ve experienced moments of doubt, inconsistency, burnout, and having to pivot when something no longer felt aligned.
I’ve also had to learn not to measure my progress against other people’s timelines. Some seasons required me to slow down, heal, reevaluate, and trust myself again. Those moments weren’t always comfortable, but they taught me that changing direction doesn’t mean I’ve failed. Sometimes it means I’ve grown.
I’m learning to give myself permission to evolve while still following through on the things that truly matter to me.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a multidisciplinary creative and the founder of Illumin8te HER, where I create custom apparel and curated trucker hats that are bold, personal, and intentional. What I’m most proud of is allowing my creativity to evolve without putting myself in one box. What sets my work apart is the meaning behind it. I love turning ideas, words, and feelings into something people can wear, connect with, and see themselves in.
