Exploring Life & Business with Robert Jackson of Jackson Law Firm

Today we’d like to introduce you to Robert Jackson.

Hi Robert, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I became an attorney because I wanted to help people during some of the most difficult and uncertain moments of their lives. After gaining courtroom experience, I decided to build a firm of my own and founded Jackson Law Firm.

My practice has focused heavily on criminal defense, DUI/DWI, and serious traffic matters, where being prepared, responsive, and willing to fight for a client can make a major difference. Over time, I also expanded into personal injury, helping clients who have been hurt because of someone else’s negligence.

The firm has grown largely through client referrals, reputation, and a commitment to giving people straightforward advice and strong representation. I’m proud of what we’ve built, and my goal is to continue growing while maintaining the personal level of service that helped build the firm in the first place.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not always been a smooth road. Building a law firm means learning much more than just how to practice law. There are challenges that come with managing clients, running a business, hiring the right people, marketing, and learning how to grow without losing the personal attention that clients expect.

One of the biggest challenges has been learning how to balance the demands of criminal defense, where matters can move quickly and require immediate attention, with the longer-term nature of personal injury cases. Every stage of growth has brought new challenges, but it has also forced me to become a better attorney and business owner.

I think the biggest lesson has been to stay adaptable, keep learning, and not be afraid to make changes when something is not working.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Jackson Law Firm ?
Jackson Law Firm focuses on criminal defense, DUI/DWI, serious traffic matters, and personal injury. We represent people who are often dealing with stressful, high-stakes situations, and our goal is to give them clear guidance, strong advocacy, and direct access to their attorney throughout the process.

What sets the firm apart is the personal level of service we provide. Clients are not treated like a file number. We make it a priority to be responsive, straightforward, and prepared, whether we are defending someone in court or helping an injured client pursue compensation.

The firm has built its reputation largely through results, referrals, and relationships in the community. I am especially proud that the Jackson Law Firm name has become associated with being accessible, aggressive when necessary, and willing to put in the work for our clients.

As we continue to grow, the goal is to expand our personal injury practice while maintaining the same hands-on approach that helped build the firm in the first place.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I define success as having the freedom to build a life on your own terms while still being able to provide for your family and make a positive impact on the people you serve.

For me, it is not just about financial growth. It is about creating something meaningful, having control over my time, continuing to grow professionally, and being present for my family. If I can keep building a successful business without losing sight of those things, I consider that success.
