Inspiring Conversations with Collins Idedevbo of Blessed Photography LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Collins Idedevbo.

Hi Collins, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey into photography started with a simple love for capturing moments. I began taking photos of friends from school, church, and the people around me. Seeing their reactions and how confident they felt after receiving their photos made me realize photography was more than just a hobby—it was something I truly loved.

As I continued practicing, learning, and developing my own creative style, my passion eventually grew into Blessed Photography. The name represents my belief that photography is a gift God has blessed me with, and I want to use that gift to bless others.

Today, I specialize in capturing weddings, engagements, portraits, families, graduations, branding, and special moments. My style is bright, vibrant, bold, and timeless, with a focus on creating images that allow people to see themselves at their best.

For me, Blessed Photography isn’t just about taking beautiful pictures. It’s about creating an experience where every client feels comfortable, confident, celebrated, and genuinely excited to see their vision come to life.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting wasn’t easy. I didn’t always have the best equipment, a large portfolio, or the exposure needed to attract clients. I also struggled with confidence and sometimes questioned whether my work was good enough to compete with other photographers. There were times when I had to work with what I had, teach myself new techniques, practice constantly, and take opportunities simply for the experience and exposure.

Instead of allowing those challenges to stop me, I used them as motivation to improve. As I invested in better equipment, gained more experience, and developed my own creative style, my confidence grew along with my business

As you know, we’re big fans of Blessed Photography LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Blessed Photography is a photography and videography brand specializing in weddings, engagements, portraits, graduations, families, branding, and special events. I’m known for creating bright, vibrant, bold, and timeless images that help my clients look and feel their best.

What sets Blessed Photography apart is the experience. I provide creative direction and guidance throughout each session so clients feel comfortable, confident, and celebrated in front of the camera.

I’m most proud of how much the brand has grown. I started with limited equipment, exposure, and confidence, but continued learning, investing in myself, and trusting the gift God gave me. Today, my purpose remains the same: to bless each client by bringing their unique vision to life and creating memories they can cherish for years to come.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite childhood memory was when my parents took me to Nigeria for the first time. I felt like a king the way I was getting anything I asked for. One day I asked for ice cream and my family bought me a whole tub of ice cream. I sat in the living room and ate the whole thing with no remorse.
