Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve had an oddly amount of good and bad dating/life experiences…as the average person sure but have always been alot more introspective about it. Turned that pain into purpose through social media and started speaking on my experiences, within months people resonated with my advice and stories and here I am today. My path allows me to help women but also give broader perspectives and confront taboo topics that otherwise would make people uncomfortable to talk about. So far I think I’m doing pretty alright
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Regarding content, not so much. I’ve done advertising, podcasting and experimented with social media so much. This was just about trying something different & staying consistent. The only struggle was imposter syndrome. I got to stand in my purpose and who I am, sometimes I struggle with that
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I work in luxury retail, places like Gucci, YSL, MaxMara. I love being in fields of work that force me to be polished, my best self at all times. I’m proud of my ability to show up and look dam good everyday. As a woman and a mother it can be very hard to do that, so I put myself in occupations that force that so I don’t lose sight of who I am
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I’ve been in the dmv my entire life. The upside is education honestly. You’ll meet alot of educated people and the resources are endless. I think the downsides are subjective lol I’m bored here and would thrive in NY or Chicago. But I have friends from other states who find endless things to do, so I think it’s subjective personally speaking
