Hi Kessiah , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
In high school, my life revolved around sports and marching band but due to circumstances beyond my control, that chapter closed far sooner than I ever expected. When I graduated high school in 2018 those activities that had defined me were simply a thing of the past and I was left facing a future that felt unfamiliar. Without the structure of athletics or band, I needed a new outlet something that allowed me to express myself and rebuild my confidence.
That’s when I turned to YouTube. At first, it was just an experiment. I uploaded inconsistently, unsure of my niche, my voice, or even my purpose. Every video felt like a shot in the dark, and the fear of being judged. By the time 2021 came around I realized that the people who judged weren’t living my life, weren’t chasing my goals, and weren’t responsible for my future. I was. And if I wanted to build something real, something meaningful and make people laugh I had to let go of the noise around me. I was rotating between vlogs and reactions throughout 2021-2023 but by the summer of 2023 I decided that vlogs were going to be my niche but with more comedic flare to it that highlighted my humor and natural charisma. With this approach, a new audience began to show up. Not only could they laugh at the jokes, the timing, and the spontaneous moments that made each vlog feel alive, but they also found something deeper relatability. My humor wasn’t forced or scripted so that made people feel like they weren’t just watching a video; they were hanging out with someone who understood them. It shows proof that being myself, fully and unapologetically, was definitely the best decision. Currently I’m stepping into a new phase of my content journey one built around collaboration, energy, and bringing people together. After spending years creating solo, shooting and editing everything myself, I’m now working on group based videos that tap into a different kind of excitement like sports challenges, competitive moments these projects add a dynamic layer to my channel that goes beyond individual creativity.
Group videos give me the chance to mix personalities, create memorable interactions, and capture the kind of unpredictable moments that only happen when people come together. Whether it’s friendly competition or full on athletic challenges, these videos bring out humor, intensity, and authenticity all at once. They’re fun to make, fun to watch, and they open the door to a whole new audience.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Just when things were beginning to take shape, everything came crashing down. Guideline issues and unexpected setbacks forced me to start over not just adjust, but rebuild from the ground up.
I had to step back and ask myself what could actually work. What did I truly enjoy? What connected with people? What felt authentic enough to build on? It wasn’t about chasing trends or copying what was popular. It was about finding a direction that matched who I was becoming as a creator.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
When I first started I had to learn how to shoot and edit my own videos, mastering angles. I don’t have a cameraman to walk around so I tend to venture out solo, which sounds a little crazy when you think about it. Filming alone means carrying the weight of every decision where to go, how to frame the shot, how to capture moments without anyone else there to help or hype me up. It means taking risks, stepping into unfamiliar places, and trusting that the story will reveal itself. One thing that truly sets me apart from other creators is the way I operate. I don’t need a full crew, a packed schedule, or a group of people around me to make content worth watching. I’ve learned how to have fun on my own, how to turn simple moments into something entertaining. My friends and family know this better than anyone. They’ve seen me take the most ordinary situations and turn them into something funny, engaging, or unexpectedly meaningful. They know I can make something out of nothing that I can walk into a quiet space, a random street, or a simple daily routine and still find a way to create a moment worth capturing.
How do you think about luck?
I wouldn’t call it a talent in the traditional sense, or even a special ability that sets me above anyone else. If anything, I see it as being blessed with a creative mind a way of thinking that lets me see possibilities where others might see nothing at all. It’s not about being perfect or having every idea planned out. It’s about having a natural spark that turns ordinary moments into something worth capturing.
