Rising Stars: Meet Elizabeth of Maryland

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started taking fitness seriously around 2022, when I met my now-husband, and began going to the gym more consistently in 2023.

At that point, I had reached a place where I knew I needed to make a change. I had spent about 12 years working a desk job and sitting in a chair five days a week, and my legs had become so weak that I knew I couldn’t keep going the same way.

I didn’t start because I had everything figured out. I started because I wanted to feel stronger and better in my own body. Along the way, fitness became so much more than exercise. It has helped me build my confidence, feel better about myself, and discover a strength I didn’t always know I had.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come, the strength I’ve gained, and the energy I have today. Most importantly, I’ve learned that I’m capable of more than I sometimes give myself credit for.

I’m also working toward a future in the fitness space, where I hope to inspire women to believe in themselves and realize that they can accomplish whatever they set their minds to. There is still a lot I’m learning and building, but I’m excited about what’s ahead.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the hardest parts of my fitness journey has been staying consistent when I’m not seeing immediate results.

There have been many times when I’ve felt stuck or discouraged. You can put in the work and still wonder if you’re really making progress, and that can be frustrating.

Having an online coach with a workout routine and nutrition plan has helped give me structure and keep me accountable. My husband has also been a huge source of encouragement. He believes in me and reminds me not to give up when things get difficult.

Through those challenges, I’ve learned that I’m stronger than I think. I’ve learned to trust the process, be patient with myself, and keep showing up even when the results aren’t immediate.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I currently work as a financial analyst, where I’ve developed a strong foundation in problem-solving, organization, and helping others make informed decisions. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to create standard operating procedures, train others, and help improve processes, which are accomplishments I’m very proud of.

At the same time, I’m working toward a future in the fitness space, which has become a very meaningful part of my life. My own fitness journey has taught me discipline, patience, consistency, and, most importantly, the importance of believing in yourself.

People often come to me for advice, whether it’s about managing their finances or something fitness-related, and I genuinely enjoy being able to share what I know and help someone move forward.

What sets me apart is my persistence, honesty, and willingness to keep learning. I don’t expect things to happen overnight. I believe in continuing to show up, even when things get difficult, and staying true to who I am. Whether I’m helping someone professionally or sharing my fitness journey, I want people to feel that they can trust me and that I genuinely care about helping others.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I’m open to meaningful collaborations with fitness brands, creators, and other women in the industry, particularly opportunities that align with my values and my future goals in the fitness space. I’m interested in creating genuine connections and content that can encourage and inspire women to become stronger and more confident.

For now, the best way people can support my journey is by following my content on social media, engaging with what I share, and simply following along as I continue to grow. I’m still learning and building, and I’m excited to share more of my journey and what I’m working toward as it develops.
