Hi Tiffany, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey into entrepreneurship has been one of faith, resilience, purpose, and transformation.
Two years ago, I took one of the biggest steps of my life and signed the lease for what would become Mi’Chelle Premier Salon & Wellness Spa. What made that day especially significant was that the very same day I signed the lease to begin building my dream, I was served my divorce papers.
I was literally experiencing the ending of one chapter of my life while signing the papers to begin another.
Starting my salon during that season was not easy. I was navigating divorce, motherhood, financial challenges, rebuilding my confidence, and learning how to become the CEO that my business required me to be—all at the same time. There were moments when I questioned how I was going to keep going, but I knew that what I was building was bigger than just me.
Mi’Chelle Premier started as a vision to create more than a traditional salon. I wanted women to have a place where they could experience luxury while also receiving education and solutions for the health of their hair and scalp. As my journey continued, I became deeply passionate about hair loss, scalp disorders, alopecia, and understanding the internal factors that can impact hair growth. That passion led me to continue my education in trichology, hair loss, and holistic health.
Today, Mi’Chelle Premier has evolved into a luxury salon and wellness experience, and I’ve also developed the Treat Recovery System, which allows me to work with women who are struggling with hair loss and help them approach restoration from a much deeper perspective.
I’ve gone from simply styling hair to understanding that my purpose is to help women restore, rebalance, and regrow—not only their hair, but in many ways their confidence as well.
The woman who signed that lease two years ago was determined, but she had no idea how much she would have to overcome. Looking back now, I realize that building this business was also rebuilding me.
There have been challenges, sacrifices, tears, lessons, and moments when giving up would have been easier. But through my faith, my family, my clients, continued education, and an unwavering belief in the vision God gave me, I kept going.
Today, I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built, but I also know that this is only the beginning. My goal is to continue expanding Mi’Chelle Premier and Treat Recovery into brands that change the way women experience beauty, wellness, hair restoration, and luxury care.
What began during one of the hardest seasons of my life has become one of the greatest testimonies of what can happen when you choose to keep going.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has definitely not been a smooth road.
There were actually **two different times when I came extremely close to losing my salon. Financially, I was struggling to keep everything afloat, and at the same time, I was dealing with the reality that having a great business does not automatically mean people know that you exist.
One of my biggest challenges was **lack of marketing and exposure. I knew the quality of the services I provided, I knew the transformation my clients were experiencing, and I knew the vision I had for Mi’Chelle Premier but I had to learn how to position the business, tell my story, market with intention, and get in front of the right people.
There were moments when the numbers simply did not add up. I had rent, payroll, operating expenses, and all of the responsibilities that come with running a business, while still trying to build consistent clientele and visibility. . There were days when I questioned whether I would be able to keep the doors open.
But every time I felt like I had reached the end, **God stepped in.
Sometimes it came through an unexpected client, an opportunity, a connection, a new strategy, or simply the strength to keep showing up when I wanted to quit. Those experiences strengthened my faith and taught me that entrepreneurship is not just about having a great idea it requires discipline, strategy, resilience, and the willingness to keep evolving.
I also had to learn that I could not operate only as a hairstylist anymore. I had to become a CEO. . I had to understand finances, marketing, leadership, systems, team development, customer experience, and how to make decisions that would protect the future of the company.
Those difficult seasons changed me. They forced me to become more intentional, more strategic, and more confident in the vision God gave me.
So no, the road has not been smooth, but I am grateful for every challenge because they helped shape both the businesswoman and the woman I am today. There were moments when Mi’Chelle Premier could have become a story about a business that almost made it
Instead, by the grace of God, it became a story about a business that **almost closed twice—and kept going

At Mi’Chelle Premier Salon & Wellness Spa, my work goes far beyond styling hair. I specialize in healthy hair restoration, scalp wellness, trichology, alopecia support, luxury hair care, silk presses, and extensions. My goal is to help women look beautiful while also understanding what is happening beneath the surface.
What I am becoming known for is combining luxury beauty with hair and scalp wellness. Many women have been taught to cover hair loss, thinning, breakage, or scalp concerns with styles. My approach is different. I want to identify the root of the concern, educate the client, create a plan, and still provide an elevated experience where she feels confident and cared for.
That passion eventually led me to create the Treat Recovery System, which focuses on helping women restore, rebalance, and regrow. Through my continued education in trichology, hair loss, and holistic wellness, I have learned that hair loss is not always just a hair issue. There can be many contributing factors, and I believe women deserve more than a temporary solution they deserve education, support, and a personalized approach.
What sets me apart is that I do not believe a woman should have to choose between healthy hair and luxury. She can have both. Whether she is coming in for a silk press, extensions, scalp treatment, or a hair-loss consultation, the health of her hair and scalp remains a priority.
I am most proud of the transformations that go beyond what you can see in a before-and-after photo. I have watched women who were embarrassed about their hair loss begin to feel hopeful again. I have seen clients become more confident, more educated, and more intentional about caring for themselves. Those moments remind me why I do this work.
I am also proud that I continued investing in my education and expanding my vision. I started as a hairstylist, but I have grown into a business owner, trichology professional, educator, and creator of a hair and scalp recovery system. Every level has required me to stretch beyond what was comfortable.
Ultimately, what makes Mi’Chelle Premier different is the experience. We are not just creating hairstyles—we are creating a space where beauty, wellness, education, restoration, and luxury meet. I want every woman who walks through our doors to leave feeling seen, cared for, confident, and empowered about the health of her hair.
What are your plans for the future?
The future for me is about expansion, impact, and legacy.
I am looking forward to continuing to grow Mi’Chelle Premier Salon & Wellness Spa beyond being known as just a place to receive beautiful hair services. My vision is for it to become a recognized destination for luxury beauty, scalp wellness, hair restoration, and education.
A major focus moving forward is expanding the Treat Recovery System. I want to continue developing it into a trusted brand for women experiencing hair loss, thinning, scalp concerns, and changes in their hair health. I see Treat Recovery growing beyond the salon through products, treatment programs, education, speaking engagements, and eventually reaching women in different cities and communities.
I am also focused on strengthening my team and creating systems that allow the business to operate at a higher level. One of my personal goals is to continue transitioning from working primarily in the business to truly leading and growing the business as a CEO. I want to create opportunities for other beauty professionals to grow, develop their careers, and become leaders as well.
Education is another important part of my future. I want to use my experiences both the successes and the difficult seasons to educate women, beauty professionals, and entrepreneurs about hair loss, wellness, business ownership, and what it truly takes to keep going when your vision is bigger than your current circumstances.
Ultimately, I am building something that I want to outlive me. I want my children to see that even during one of the hardest seasons of my life, I chose to build, believe, and keep moving forward.
Two years ago, I was simply trying to keep the vision alive. Today, I am thinking about legacy, expansion, and how many lives this vision can impact.
And that is probably what excites me the most I genuinely believe we are still only at the beginning.
