Hi Nicholson, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Due to my body being born with a cardiac irregularity known as a septal defect, which causes my heart to pump more intensely than average, I was born into a life of tangible internal force & variability. This means, without my agreement, my nervous system is a finely tuned instrument that puts what most people would perceive as the background into my foreground. Even at rest, my most vital organ beats like a drum. So, this path of wellbeing is less of an intellectual interest, & far more of an existential necessity; hence my devotion to break down the subject over the years & become a teacher of the science.
Originally, my plan was to focus on meditation, as I found that to be a direct path towards achieving the state of serenity & health I desired. So I began teaching others to do the same. During one session, however, the focus shifted to handling an outside situation using meditative principles. My student began asking me how to carry herself in various scenarios. I was able to offer advice that resonated with her; & it proved to be effective when she implemented it. By the next class, she wanted a full consult instead of going deeper into her meditation! She was more thankful for the counseling than taking a deeper turn inward. I realized I stumbled upon a greater form of impact within my service to the world. I knew from that moment on that I wasn’t just supposed to direct people’s attention to their core inside of the protection of a sacred space, but I was meant to help them organize their minds so their core finds expression in all that they do amongst the madness of the world.
With this clarity, I began spreading practical insights for wellbeing on social media about every area that is meaningful to human life, which has propelled my career to where it is today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Getting to this point in my career, which I perceive to be a direct reflection of my internal maturity, has not been a smooth road. This line of work isn’t something you can go to school for or learn under a teacher as an apprentice. The whole path is spiritually controlled. Meaning I am at the mercy of a power beyond Earth that is deciding how aware I can become & at what time & what I will say to which person. It’s all very tailor made for the unique individual who decides to be a representative of human development, which is incredibly useful but also highly mysterious because it is a cooperation with the miraculous ways of nature.
The main struggle for me was learning to trust in the invisible. To have faith that the internal signals I’m receiving that no one else is receiving are accurate. & it has been a struggle because I’ve had to overcome my survival instincts. People get into business to earn income for their basic needs. So most decide to do something where the instructions & process of evolution are concrete. If you get into construction, as an example, what you need to know you’re going in the right direction is a blueprint you follow until the building is finished. But for teaching wellbeing, which is all about creating a blissful atmosphere inside oneself, sometimes you don’t know whether you’re going forward or backwards. It’s an unfoldment that happens all at once when you understand the great complexities of the human mechanism. So depending on such an amorphous offering to participate in the economy is a very bold choice. Fortunately, one of the character traits spirituality provides is courage. I have relied on that to take action I know in my body is right. I’ve learned to let my mind catch up later.
We’ve been impressed with Even Air Media, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The name of my business is Even Air Media, because the essential offering I have is equanimity. To create an atmosphere of evenness within the people who work with me is the sole purpose of my work, because that is the platform to commune with the Divine. That is the highest “thing” one could achieve in life. I carry out this work through the use of media, hence the final word of my business’s title.
Counseling is the primary export of my entrepreneurship. Through 1 on 1 calls, public speaking, writing, & social media content, I spread wisdom to make this world a more aware place than when I found it. I specialize in helping people transcend suffering & maintain their wellbeing afterwards.
What sets me apart from others isn’t the teachings I have, because everyone in this field is aware of & has access to the same basic principles of wellbeing. I’m unique in what I bring out of the people I work worth, not what I give to them. I have noticed many times that because of the level of safety people have with me, they feel welcomed to pour their hearts out about what’s troubling them. From there, I tell them a timeless principle they have probably heard before. But where I place this knowledge inside their minds & at what time in the conversation is what makes it valuable. If my delivery is too soon or too late or too harsh or too gentle, it doesn’t work. & when I say work, I mean transform. I understand that knowing principles isn’t enough. You have to have an eye for how to translate them so they cause lasting change in the person you’re engaging with. This sense of time & space within another’s mind is just something I was born with. It is my brand & I am grateful for its ability to impress people in the right way.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
This field is all about communicating wisdom. People will naturally gravitate to you because your voice cuts through the noise of superficial words that most of us are tired of. When you look deep within your heart & you have something valuable to say upon the world stage of social media, that is truly the best networking tool you have. I met my mentor through this method, who was eager to help me navigate to where I wish to go because he saw that spark of light in my message. Receiving support is less of people wanting to help you as an individual, & more of them wanting to make your work more visible because its service to society is significant. When you’re channeling a stream of wealth, others will want access to it.
