Hi Peace, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I never planned to be in healthcare. I planned to be a doctor.
Growing up, medicine felt like my calling. I was in science class, studying hard, chasing that dream. But the path closed. And instead of giving up, I pivoted to my other passion — business. I studied Business Administration, then went on to complete my MSc in Business Analytics at Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business.
What happened next felt less like a career choice and more like divine redirection.
Almost every role I stepped into, every colleague I worked alongside, every problem I was asked to solve — led me straight into healthcare. And the more time I spent inside the industry, the more I saw a gap that nobody was filling cleanly. Healthcare providers — therapists, mental health professionals, dentists, wound care nurses, primary care doctors — were brilliant at caring for people. But the business side of their practices was drowning them.
Credentialing paperwork. Insurance denials. Revenue cycle chaos. Billing errors that cost practices thousands of dollars every month.
That is where Tahor Health was born.
Tahor is a Hebrew word meaning pure. We chose that name deliberately. Because we believe healthcare businesses deserve to operate with pure, ethical, and intelligent practices. As Co-Founder of Tahor Health & Analytics, I help independent healthcare providers and organizations take back control of their revenue cycle — through expert billing, insurance credentialing, and data-driven analytics.
What makes us different is not price. It is proximity, accountability, and intelligence. We are US-based, which means we understand state-specific payer requirements, local insurance panels, and the regulatory nuances that generic overseas billing companies consistently miss. We combine hands-on operational expertise with AI and analytics to give providers not just clean claims — but real insight into how their practice is performing.
For me this was never purely about business. Two books sit on my desk that say everything about why I do this. Good to Great by Jim Collins reminds me to build something that lasts. The Man God Uses by Oswald Smith reminds me that the work has to mean something. Tahor Health sits at the intersection of both.
I am also the Founder of Health. Business. Analysis. — a thought leadership publication at the intersection of Healthcare, Business Analysis, and AI — because I believe the conversation about how healthcare businesses operate needs to be louder, more honest, and more accessible to the people inside it.
The bridge between healthcare and business has been missing for too long. We are building it.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Healthcare is one of the most complex industries in the world to operate a business in. And we learned that quickly.
Credentialing alone can take 60 to 120 days per provider. Insurance payers have their own rules, their own timelines, their own reasons for denials. The administrative burden on independent practitioners is immense — and for mental health providers especially, who are often solo practitioners running their entire practice alone, the system can feel impossible to navigate.
We also operate in a competitive space. Billing and credentialing companies exist across the globe offering lower price points. But we made a deliberate choice early on. We would not compete on price. We would compete on quality, intelligence, and relationship. A US-based partner who understands your payer landscape, tracks your claims proactively, and uses analytics to identify revenue leaks is worth more than the cheapest option available.
The deeper challenge has been changing how providers think about the business side of their practice. Many brilliant clinicians have been conditioned to believe that administrative chaos is just part of the job. Convincing them that it does not have to be — that there is a better way — is work we do every single day.

The Man God Uses by Oswald Smith grounds me in purpose. Business for me has never been purely financial. It is purposeful. Every provider we help, every practice we stabilize, every claim we get paid is part of something bigger than revenue.
For staying connected to the industry I read Health Affairs — one of the most respected health policy journals in the United States — where I also serve as a peer reviewer contributing to the academic conversation around healthcare access and equity.
The community that has shaped me most professionally is the PMBA — Project Management and Business Analysis conference network. Serving as a host and volunteer at their Washington DC conferences and later as their official media correspondent gave me a front row seat to some of the sharpest minds in business analysis and project management. That community directly inspired Health. Business. Analysis. and continues to fuel how I think about the intersection of healthcare and business every single day.
