Hi Lakel , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey began with my background as a Registered Nurse and my passion for helping people care for themselves from the inside out. I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years and have seen firsthand how often people wait until they are depleted, burned out, or unwell before they begin prioritizing their health. Over time, my own life experiences also taught me the importance of being intentional about wellness, restoration, and listening to the body.
In January 2023, I lost my father, Winston Ebb. During his time in hospice care, I served as his healthcare advocates, which was a deeply personal experience for me. As a nurse, I understood the healthcare side, but as his daughter, I was also navigating the emotional reality of that season. That experience gave me an even deeper understanding of caregiving, family responsibility, and the importance of supporting the people who are often expected to be strong for everyone else.
Shortly after that, in February 2023, I accepted a nursing contract in Honolulu, Hawaii, where I worked as a Travel Nurse at The Queen’s Medical Center, Punchbowl. I traveled there with my children, my mother, and my grandmother. At the time, I thought I was simply going to Hawaii to work, but that season became much more than a work assignment. Hawaii gave me space to reconnect with myself. I walked, hiked, spent time near the water, and became more intentional about listening to my body and paying attention to what I needed physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
I had already incorporated IV vitamin therapy into my wellness routine, but while I was in Hawaii, my interest in restorative wellness practices continued to grow. I also learned more about infrared light therapy and began thinking more deeply about how people could benefit from services that support energy, recovery, hydration, healthy aging, and overall well-being. That season helped shape the vision for what would eventually become The Vitamin Suite.
When I returned to Maryland in July 2023, I knew I wanted to create a wellness experience that helped people prioritize their health in a more intentional way. I received the keys to my wellness lounge in Bowie Town Center in September 2023. After a long permitting process, we officially opened our doors in January 2025.
We started with no clients and grew to serve more than 150 clients. That was an important milestone because it represented trust, community, and proof that people were looking for a different kind of wellness experience. Many of our clients reported feeling more energized, refreshed, and supported after services such as IV vitamin therapy, vitamin injections, infrared and red-light therapy, and other wellness support services.
As the business grew, I also paid close attention to what our clients needed most. Many of them were busy professionals, high-achieving women, caregivers, leaders, and families who valued wellness but needed it to fit into their lifestyle in a more convenient and personalized way. That insight led us to transition from the traditional wellness lounge model into The Vitamin Suite Concierge, a luxury concierge wellness model serving clients across the DMV region as of June 1, 2026.
Today, The Vitamin Suite Concierge provides a more personalized, convenient, and elevated wellness experience for clients who desire wellness support that meets them where they are. Our Concierge Wellness Network includes luxury concierge IV hydration services, corporate wellness programs, healthy aging and longevity support, community wellness initiatives, concierge wellness education, and a professional network for nurses.
For me, wellness is not a one-time treatment. It is a lifestyle. My mission is to help people understand that self-care goes far beyond beauty or surface-level maintenance. True self-care is about supporting your energy, protecting your peace, listening to your body, and investing in your health from the inside out.
Everything I have experienced personally and professionally has shaped the way I lead this work. I am passionate about helping high-value women, nurses, leaders, caregivers, and busy professionals understand that taking care of themselves is not selfish. It is necessary. The Vitamin Suite Concierge was created to make that kind of wellness support more accessible, more personal, and more aligned with the way people actually live.

No, it has not been a smooth road, but it has been a purposeful one. Every part of the journey has required faith, patience, resilience, and the ability to keep moving even when things did not happen on the timeline I expected.
One of the biggest struggles was building while navigating major life transitions. In January 2023, I lost my father and served as his healthcare advocates during his hospice journey. That season gave me an even greater understanding of what families and caregivers carry, and it strengthened my passion for wellness, restoration, and support.
On the business side, opening The Vitamin Suite required a great deal of patience and perseverance. I received the keys to the wellness lounge in Bowie Town Center in September 2023, but the permitting process took 16 months before we were able to officially open in January 2025. That was a challenging season because I had the vision, the space, and the desire to serve, but I had to wait, adjust, and keep believing in the mission while working through the process.
When we finally opened, we started with no clients. We had to build trust, educate the community, and introduce a wellness concept that was still new to many people in the area. Services like IV vitamin therapy, infrared light therapy, longevity support, and concierge wellness require education because many people are used to thinking about health reactively instead of proactively. Part of the work has been helping people understand that wellness is not just something you do once you are burned out or depleted. It is a lifestyle.
Another challenge was learning how to evolve the business based on what the market needed. After serving more than 150 clients, we recognized that many of our clients were busy professionals, high-achieving women, caregivers, leaders, families, and organizations who valued wellness but needed it to be more convenient, private, and personalized. That insight led us to transition from the traditional wellness lounge model into The Vitamin Suite Concierge, a luxury concierge wellness model serving clients across the DMV region.
That transition was not a setback. It was a strategic evolution. It allowed us to expand beyond one physical location and create a more flexible model that meets clients where they are.
Personally, and professionally, this journey has taught me that growth often requires both endurance and reinvention. The road has not been easy, but it has shaped me as a woman, a nurse, a founder, and a leader. The quality most important to my success is discernment which is the ability to listen deeply, assess what is really going on, and respond with strategy, compassion, and wisdom.
As a Registered Nurse, that quality has shaped the way I care for people. My background includes emergency nursing, trauma, case management, nursing education, and healthcare leadership, so I have learned how to stay calm under pressure, ask the right questions, look at the whole picture, and advocate for people when they need guidance. That same skill now shapes the way I lead The Vitamin Suite Concierge.
We do not just deliver wellness services. We build personalized wellness strategies that empower people to live healthier, longer, and more connected lives. When someone comes to us, I am not just asking, “Which IV do you want?” I want to understand what is happening in their life, their body, their stress level, their lifestyle, their goals, and what kind of support they truly need.
That discernment has allowed The Vitamin Suite to become more than a wellness brand.
