Today we’d like to introduce you to Sherry Coombs.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I decided to start this small business after my grand daughter introduced me to dirty drinks for the first time. Originally I had planned to start a small business making and selling wraps, chips and drinks. However, after realizing how popular dirty drinks were and trying one for myself I decided to go a different route. I started this business in November and two weeks later we had our first event. Our smalla business has grown quite a bit in such a short time.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
In the beginning we had a hard time with remembering to bring everything to the events. There was even a time we forgot our recipe cards for our drinks. Each event we learn something new.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We make dirty(non alcoholic) drinks. We use tea, lemonade, soda, coffee and energy drinks and mix flavored syrups and cream to change the taste. We are known for our unique drinks specifically our top seller “Southern Belle”- which is out rootbeer drink with marshmallow fluff, mini marshmallows, sprinkle,caramel syrup, toasted marshallow syrup and rootbeer. I am proud of how we are able to work an event just about every weekend due since we started this small business. Our unique fully customizable drinks if what sets us apart from others.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My family. Due to our business being so small we do not have actual employees. Every weekend my family comes together to make sure we are able to work the events.
