Conversations with Eulanda Wellons

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eulanda Wellons.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my interest in the beauty industry by way of nails during the pandemic in 2020. I have always been into arts and crafts and wanted to translate that creativity. I am a mother of 4, a wife and a full time nurse so caring for others and compassion is second nature.

Through nails I am able to make someone happy and build confidence from the services that I offer. My goal is to bridge the gap between customer service and beauty. I have noticed through personal experiences that customer service and respect has lacked within this industry.

I enjoy and pride myself and business for creating a safe space for my clients to feel vulnerable, heard, and most importantly respected!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not always been a smooth road but very rewarding. From starting a business from scratch with no customers and having to build your own reputation can be a challenge. However, I would not trade it for the world as I have learned various lessons and networked with amazing women.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I offer nail enhancements, natural nail services and pedicures. I am known for my short acrylic nail sets and French Tip designs. I am most proud of completing nail tech school. What sets me apart from others is that I pride myself on making my clients feel seen and heard and not just a transaction.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Yes, I listen to various podcasts and read blogs that promote women empowerment. I also use an app by the name of “Calm” to assist me when I face difficult challenges in life and work that help with meditation.
