Hi Tarmara, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hello my name is Tarmara White and I’m the founder and creator of JNT Fitness & Lifestyle.
When I first began my adventure with fitness I was anything but the picture of health. Being overweight and not feeling comfortable with my body I decided to do something about it. I absorbed myself in a new lifestyle and never looked back.
It wasn’t easy, trying to find the time , find the right workouts for my body type and eating the right food. It took a while for me to figure out what truly worked for my body and make the necessary changes but I did it and even in the midst of trying to figure it out I never gave up.
The years I’ve spent working on myself not just physically but mentally and emotionally I found a passion in all things fitness and health. I believe when you feel good you excel in life which resulted in me wanting to help others who may be in the same boat I was in years ago before starting my fitness journey.
Honestly, a healthy lifestyle is much more than just lifting weights, running on the treadmill and getting a good sweat in. It’s about preparing your body before and after working out, a proper routine that caters to your goals, eating healthy, getting enough sleep and most importantly being patient with yourself. What I enjoy the most about training my clients are seeing them experience what their bodies and minds are capable of with hard work and commitment
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of the struggles I had to endure along the journey was the death of my cousin who was like a brother to me. He passed away in 2021 and I didn’t want to use his death to distract me. So I used my hurt and pain which inspired me to start my business.

I’am known for being a positive role model in motivating others to become active physically to build strength, endurance, energy and a since of love for fitness.
My brand, my passion and my love for fitness have made my life easier and more fulfilling than I have ever imagined. That’s why I will continue to pour into others, so that one day they can experience that same feeling of happiness and joy.
I’am most proud of my fitness journey in allowing myself to experience other areas of physical activity that will allow me to reach my goals and push myself beyond my limits.
I offer one on one In Person and Virtual personal training sessions, group workout sessions and bootcamp workouts.
How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happy is seeing people start their fitness journey no matter of their circumstances, physical limitations and or appearances because that means they are ready for a change and a new way of living.
