Hi Dr. Allison G., thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Meet Dr. Allison G. Daniels: My journey began with a deep love for writing and a clear call from God to use my voice to serve others. I’ve been writing for over 35 years, long before I fully understood the magnitude of the assignment on my life. What started as journaling and personal reflection evolved into purposeful writing rooted in faith, resilience, and empowerment. Over the years, God allowed my words to reach far beyond me—I have now penned 55 books, served as a contributing author in 33 published works, and become the Master Visionary Author of 16 collaborative projects, including powerful anthologies designed to amplify testimonies and transformational stories. I am also a retired Lead Paralegal Specialist with over 38 years of service at the United States Attorney’s Office, providing me with a unique perspective on leadership, justice, and professional excellence.
As that vision unfolded, I founded AGD Publishing and Coaching Services to help authors and visionaries bring their stories from manuscript to marketplace. Publishing has always been ministry-driven for me. I created the 30 Day Write to Finish Book Writing Program about helping people understand that their story matters and that their testimony has power. That calling expanded into serving as the Master Visionary of 16 Anthologies, including Empowered to Win, 6th Edition Book Series.
Alongside Publishing, my PASTORAL calling became undeniable as God continued to draw me into deeper service and shepherding. As a Licensed and Installed Pastor of Divine Destiny Empowerment Center, I am entrusted with the spiritual care, development, and growth of individuals seeking direction, healing, and purpose. Pastoring allows me to walk closely with people through life’s transitions—helping them navigate faith, identity, leadership, and obedience to God’s call. I provide spiritual guidance, mentorship, and leadership training, equipping individuals to mature spiritually while also developing confidence and clarity in their God-given assignments.
One of my greatest assignments has been serving as the Editor-in-Chief of Empowered to Win Global Christian Magazine. In this role, I provide editorial leadership, vision, and spiritual direction for a global platform that highlights faith-filled stories, leadership insight, entrepreneurship, ministry, and personal growth. The magazine was created to give a voice to individuals who are winning against the odds—leaders, authors, entrepreneurs, and believers who are making a difference in their communities and beyond.
To conclude, as a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Speaker, and Trainer, I bring globally recognized leadership principles into every space she serves. This certification equips her with proven strategies in leadership development, communication, influence, and personal growth—allowing her to train and mentor leaders at every stage of their journey. Through this work, she helps individuals gain clarity, confidence, and the practical tools needed to lead with integrity and impact.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Dr. Allison G. Daniels: It has absolutely not been a smooth road, and I believe that honesty is important. Balancing pastoring, publishing, and a demanding professional career required sacrifice, discipline, and unwavering faith. There were seasons where I was working full-time, building a publishing company, serving in ministry, and still answering the call to write and mentor others. That level of responsibility often meant long nights, early mornings, and learning how to trust God beyond my own strength.
One of the greatest challenges was learning how to manage time and expectations without burning out. Publishing comes with deadlines, responsibility to authors, and the pressure of excellence, while pastoring requires emotional availability, spiritual discernment, and constant pouring into others. There were also moments of doubt—times when resources were limited, support was minimal, and the vision felt larger than what I could see in the natural.
Another struggle was learning to navigate leadership as a woman while remaining confident in my calling. Not everyone understood or supported the assignments God placed on my life, especially when those assignments crossed multiple arenas—faith, leadership, and business. Yet, each challenge refined me. Every setback became a lesson, and every obstacle strengthened my resolve.
What sustained me was my relationship with God. Prayer, obedience, and consistency kept me grounded. The journey taught me that purpose is costly, but obedience produces fruit. Today, I can say that every challenge prepared me to serve with greater compassion, wisdom, and excellence—empowering others to win, even against all odds.

I am the Founder and CEO of AGD Publishing and Coaching Services, where I specialize in helping authors, leaders, and visionaries transform their stories into published works with purpose and excellence. Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What truly makes me happy is living a life of purpose and impact—knowing that the work I do aligns with God’s calling and genuinely helps others grow, heal, and walk confidently in their purpose. Witnessing transformation—whether it’s an author publishing their first book, a leader gaining clarity, or someone strengthened in faith—brings me deep fulfillment.
Beyond my work, my greatest joy is my family. I am a wife of 24 years, and marriage has taught me partnership, grace, and commitment. I am also a proud mother to two beautiful queen daughters, whose strength, character, and growth continually inspire me. Becoming a grandmother has added another layer of joy, reminding me of legacy and generational impact. Additionally, I serve as a caregiver, a role that has deepened my compassion and strengthened my faith.
What makes me happiest is balance—serving God, loving my family, empowering others, and knowing my life is making a meaningful difference. Purpose, faith, and love are the foundation of my joy.
