Community Highlights: Meet Deondre Williams of Invincible Young Empire

Today we’d like to introduce you to Deondre Williams.

Deondre, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Growing up in Baltimore can be as you paint it. There’s many walks of life that come from the city of Baltimore. For me, I’m blessed to have a family that loves me. Coming up in my city, I’ve always been the “different kid.” In that sense, it was more so of being more than in the moment, but enjoy the now and always look ahead and capture what’s next on the list.

It was this way with my company, Invincible Young Empire. A simple thought that happened during technology class in high school. It would start as a group of young men who shared the love of music, but I’ve ventured out and my goals is to evolve in the digital media field and make IYE a powerhouse.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I believe life in general is never easy. Though, I would say it’s what you make it and what you learn from it to mold who you are today. My life in general hasn’t been a smooth road. Losing loved ones, facing personal struggles and wondering am I enough, that itself pushes me in ways sometimes I can’t explain. But if it was a smooth road, the canvas would look very different than it does now.

The personal struggles are ones I always look back on and knowing I am here for a reason and not just a season. I won’t stop now and I’ll always be working on what’s next.

As you know, we’re big fans of Invincible Young Empire. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Invincible Young Empire is a company that transitioned from a music group to a company that focuses on evolving in the media world. IYE launched a well-respected media platform; House of Colors in 2017. IYE continues to pride ourselves on breaking the mold of what the world wants you to be. We believe in seeing the world as it is, adding your own greatness to it and also not being selfish to help brings other voices to the table to shed light on their own light.

I’m totally proud of how our media platform House of Colors has become a respected platform for interviews and not falling into the category of “click-bait” or “toxic news.” House of Colors simply sheds light of cultural events, interviews with artists, business personnels and being impactful in a powerful light.

IYE’s motto from day one has been, “Dream Bigger Than Anyone Imagined. Never Let Anyone Make You Feel Encaged. The World Is Yours. Create Greatness.”

What are your plans for the future?
My goal with IYE is to evolve in many different lanes of media and business to accomplish the vision of making IYE a powerhouse.
